Travellers Inn

The Traveller’s Inn is a large white pub situated on the A629 and at the crossroads of four different roads hence it’s local name “The Fours”  The large white building has been a pub since the 1800’s and for the last 7 years has been run by the present landlord and landlady Jack and Ruth.

The Travellers offers top quality cask ales, an interesting Lager selection, a wide range of Ciders, Guinness and John Smiths along with carefully chosen top quality wines & spirits all at reasonable prices.  The Gin selection is extensive and we often feature a new flavour to keep the Gin drinkers interested! We pride ourselves on a good range of gluten free and alcohol free drink options. 

As a rural country pub, sourcing “proper” food is crucial and being part of the local farming community is a very important part of what the Travellers is about. The majority of meat, sausages, vegetables, eggs, milk, and potatoes can be found right on the doorstep.

The kitchen with its dedicated team of people who love cooking offer very interesting “pub food” and the specials board keeps the chefs and customers always interested!

If you have any allergies and are Gluten Free you can still enjoy a fantastic choice and a huge priority is our little furry friends so you can order the “Doggie Dinner” in a small and large portion size!

There is an extensive small appetite menu which caters for children, teenagers, elderly or the person who simply does not want to eat a large portion size.

The Travellers is set in a wonderful rural location and is the perfect destination for walkers, bikers, dogs, and families. There is a superb beer garden which enjoys full sun for most of the day and has trendy and comfortable booths.
